Character of the Acehnese people who tend to be strong and brave, like the coast in general. That was my first impression when I first set foot on earth Aceh, but gradually the impression is finally gone after I took the bag in the room waiting for the plane and luggage
It is said that Islam first entered Indonesia Aceh coastal beach shore. stretches along the Malacca Strait which was brought by merchants from Arabia and Persia, they travel towards the East trade. Aceh Earth as a haven to fix their ship and also trade with the locals. But over time, at the end of the second century before Islam is growing rapidly and in light of publicly disseminated by the scholars who mostly come from Persia and India. And in the Islamic kingdom Perlak diproklamirkanlah 225H, which is the first and largest Islamic kingdom in Southeast Asia at the time. With the First King Alaidin Saiyid Sultan Maulana Abdul Aziz Shah. Aceh became known as the city and the bustling Port of Commerce.
Many tourist attractions and historical sites that I want to go today, but I also do not want to expect much because we arrived at 4 pm. Along the way I still see lots of debris - debris of buildings after Tsunami-stricken Aceh, which has been consuming a lot of thugs ravage lives and the existing building. In general the people of Aceh Fishermen and farmers' livelihood, many houses built coastal area and is now almost razed to the ground. Accommodations and lodging in Aceh many jasmine-class hotel that is widely available in central cities, rates kamarpun varies from Rp 100,000 to Rp 200,000.
Pride Acehnese architecture is one of them Baiturahman Mosque, the mosque is located in central city of Banda Aceh, which is adjacent to the Pasar Aceh, the mosque that stood firm and maintained is still used in accordance with its function until now. so it is a mosque and an icon of pride the people of Aceh, this mosque survived the tsunami disaster had nearly been flooded as high as 3 meters at the time, but this mosque has a lot to save the people of Aceh in the tsunami disaster. Grand Mosque has a long historical journey, first in 1873 the mosque was once burned when the Dutch attacked the territory. But the anger of the people of Aceh to rebuild the mosque the Dutch in 1875. This mosque has five domes, towering main dome and in the interiors of many mosques decorated with carvings of unique and interesting. The mosque is not wrong to be icon Acehnese, for its beautiful architecture and kokohnya building this mosque. In front of the mosque there is a lotus pond water within 20 meters to limit the mosque's main gate, while the weather is not favorable. I still take photos of this mosque, and when the weather is nice. I will return to capture the most beautiful mosques in the city of Aceh.
Banda Aceh city also has the State Museum that is located not far from the Grand Mosque, the distance is only 3 km away and we take just a few minutes. In the museum there are many writings Acehnese culture, dance, crafts, ornaments, customs and carvings. In this museum complex there is a very striking building, clearly visible from public roads. Rumoh namely Aceh, Aceh's traditional house-shaped house on stilts a narrow door, and adorned by beautiful wooden carvings and motifs unique Aceh. This custom home looks very well maintained, and musiumnya was well maintained. Many of the antiquities collection of items owned by this museum, including the CakraDonya Bell, this bell was a gift from Admiral Ceng Ho in 1414. This proves, in Aceh since the first is a city and a very busy Ports visited by traders who come from different countries Quarters.
Formerly the Kingdom of Aceh and the royal Malay or Malaysia as we know it is very closely related. Gunongan is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Bangunanya shaped like a sturdy fortress hill and, at first I did not understand this building previously used and serves as a fine. Because of its strange and not like building a building like most, the right of this building there is a museum containing information about this Gunongan.
One of the beaches that we are headed today is Lhok ngaa coast, west coast of Aceh is situated on the edge. Long journey to this beach about 40 minutes through the vehicle within 17km from the city of Aceh. The beach is quite famous and is a favorite tourist spot of Acehnese society, unfortunately, when she reached us there. Many buildings on the beach facilities and tourism infrastructure was destroyed by the Tsunami disaster, the beach is not exhausted Lhok ngaa my utmost admiration for the beauty in every corner of the beach. This beach is so natural and still a virgin stretch of sand bordering the ocean, green plants and shade trees as the backdrop of this beach is surrounded by high hills. This beach we can do activities such as fishing, sailing, diving and sunbathing on the sand, not far from the beach there are a Andalas cement factory.
All the way to the port of Ulee lhuee we see on the right side of the road there are many houses and buildings destroyed by the tsunami, the area is one of the worst affected areas due to its proximity to downtown and within 5km. Many development built by foreign aid agencies, but this area has not been quite crowded with people. They are still traumatized by the Tsunami disaster, after reaching the port at Ulee lhuee we pay for tickets for 4 people. Departure at 09.00 hours in the morning we still had half an hour, so we went around to see the beach Lhuee Ulee is so beautiful. This beach at low tide on coral reefs in some parts visible, distant hills look beautiful panorama.
Sabang Island even if hit by the tsunami disaster, but the buildings and areas affected are not many destroyed. The only area in Aceh that there was no serious damage here, is due around the island there are two troughs weh deep enough. hopefully the security and peace on earth Aceh is getting better, order the beauty and panorama can be enjoyed by us all.
